heyyo

so these past few weeks have been pretty hectic. turn of the quarter and new classes and stuff have happened and such. but my birthday is in two weeks in which my friends are planning a birthday bash for me and a group of other people who have birthdays around april/may. (any excuse to have a party). for sure it should be lots of fun. anywho, a quiz and two midterms and a paper to write next week and then i can relax and maybe do some laundry or maybe a dance party.

post from elio's computer.....yay

Today i got to see monkeys!!! actual monkeys, with fur and tails and jumping around and climbing on stuff and everything, it was really cool. I also got to do bagging, meaning i picked a monkey fetus and its assorted "tissues" out of a bucket and into a bag and then heat seal it in formalin, it was pretty awesome, if i do say so.i had to wear crazy protective gear (PPE..'personal protection equipment') that included a lab coat, disposible sleeves, double gloves, a surgical mask and a face shield. all this on top of working in the fume hood...crazy. we also saw the trailer, where they store all of the bagged tissues and fetuses where we saw literally thousands of monkey fetuses....and a few human ones...which we dont quite know why there were in there...but o well. then i went to bio....yay for me for going to class, taught my section of Bis 98....today i taught them about meiosis...(sex is a good thing) ..then ran into a friend who convinced me to go downtown, get ice cream and shop...but i got a cool sweater and awesome new green shoes....they make me happy, ok! went home, took a nap despite my roomate's really annoying base, woke up somehow and dragged my carcass to physics dl, endured the 2 and a half hour torture, home for an hour, and then McDonalds with elio....yay. and that brings us up to right now, as i am sitting on elio's couch, posting on my blog. (i know im cool) so yea. thats pretty much all for now, if you read this, why not humor me and post a comment, i'll give you a cookie...

new york fashion week...and other such distractions

anyways, i should be writing my bio lab report due tomorrow and then i was surfing the internet and then i looking at all the spring collections shown at new york's fashion week and stuff, and then i was surfing the channels on tv and found the lindsey lohan version of the parent trap which makes me cry and stuff, and so im eating popcorn on my couch, watching the parent trap, looking at my unfinished lab report and daydreaming about a july when i'll be in london and stuff, sipping coffee at a little cafe and reading shakespeare and writing a couple of papers and stuff. o man, im such a sap. o well.

another day another dollar....so they say

hello all. proud to say that my body hates me for not being pregnant. seriously, what the fuck. i get super depressed and irritable over nothing for like 2 days and then wham...cramps up the wazoo just cause i havent allowed anyone to impregnant me......thats messed up man, just messed up. anyways, saturday was pretty awesome cause my friends came up and we had an early cinco de mayo party with a few of my friends from davis and my roomates (yes, im aware that its only feburary) but it was fun. we had margaritas and strawberry daquaries (sp?) and other such creations thanks to me, and my liberal amount of added alcohol. yes, and i dont have school tomorrow, how wonderful is that? it is beautiful, thats what that is. furthermore, no physics on tuesday.....ahh, life is sweet, until that is, i have to take my midterms. sighs, i try.
