Today i got to see monkeys!!! actual monkeys, with fur and tails and jumping around and climbing on stuff and everything, it was really cool. I also got to do bagging, meaning i picked a monkey fetus and its assorted "tissues" out of a bucket and into a bag and then heat seal it in formalin, it was pretty awesome, if i do say so.i had to wear crazy protective gear (PPE..'personal protection equipment') that included a lab coat, disposible sleeves, double gloves, a surgical mask and a face shield. all this on top of working in the fume hood...crazy. we also saw the trailer, where they store all of the bagged tissues and fetuses where we saw literally thousands of monkey fetuses....and a few human ones...which we dont quite know why there were in there...but o well. then i went to bio....yay for me for going to class, taught my section of Bis 98....today i taught them about meiosis...(sex is a good thing) ..then ran into a friend who convinced me to go downtown, get ice cream and shop...but i got a cool sweater and awesome new green shoes....they make me happy, ok! went home, took a nap despite my roomate's really annoying base, woke up somehow and dragged my carcass to physics dl, endured the 2 and a half hour torture, home for an hour, and then McDonalds with elio....yay. and that brings us up to right now, as i am sitting on elio's couch, posting on my blog. (i know im cool) so yea. thats pretty much all for now, if you read this, why not humor me and post a comment, i'll give you a cookie...
